Not all just pictures of us on the beach

You'll be surprised to hear that we don't spend all of our time at the beach. Some of us (i.e. me) have to work. Here's a bit about that. My walk to work is through Centennial Park (occasionally includes horses).

Fox Studios is a working studio lot with sound stages all over the place. This is one of them, it's big:

Part of the site used to be an amusement park, not too dissimilar from Granada Studios Tour (remember that, north westerners?) but now it's all just offices. It's a bit different to Topshop and M&S. Also: they don't allow the public into our bit which is completely brilliant.

This is the Animal Logic building covered in stars. I assume the Titanic sign is from a now defunct amusement ride or similar: either way I am not happy about seeing James Cameron's name every day, it makes me shivery, and not in a good way.

This is a nice picture that makes me feel all filmy.

Bet you can't goes which film was filmed at Fox recently...(hint: it was Wolverine)

In other news the birds here are brilliant. Here is a Kookaburra.

And here are the girls on top of the cliffs near our house.

Here is the beach at the bottom of our road. Literally.

Obviously I couldn't sign off without some pics of us at the beach. This is Shelly beach in Manly. It was wavy.

Waiting for a go on the surfboard. Sparkly.

New house no furniture!

Well hello. Last week we moved into a new house and proceeded to live in it with no furniture other than that we have begged/stolen/borrowed etc from generous friends. Best thing about this house is that it is approx three minutes walk from Clovelly beach which means we end up taking lots of pictures of the kids by the sea:

It seems the longer one spends on the beach the more creative one becomes with a bucket and spade.

Keith is also quite creative when it comes to making the girls' dinner after school in that he tends to favour buying fish and chips and eating them by the sea. NB this has happened more than once.

Here are some teaser pics of our house, first Keith's 'office' (dining table) with view of palm tree:

And me, marvelling at a life without furniture. One word for it: echoey.

More thrilling pictures coming soon, especially now we have wifi. 'Til then rock/roll etc xxx

Florence's Birthday

The 4th September was Florence's 3rd birthday hurrah! I was at work trying to work out how to switch my computer on so Keith took the girls to Taronga Zoo to celebrate. They took the ferry and then a cable car to the entrance which is frankly how one should get everywhere.

Ferry

Cable car - best views probably go to the elephants

A Very Positive Cable Car Experience

Once inside the Bunker girls were very pleased to encounter a plethora of Genuine Australian Animals.

Koalas!

Kangaroos!

Echidna(s)!

Also giraffes! (not native)

Chimps! (not native)

Rhinos! (not native or real)

Lunch was partaken a la Dad

Chips and curry sauce. Really!

Waiting for the seal show

Enjoying the seal show

Deciding where to go next

The conclusion was that Dad did a great job and the birthday girl had a brilliant day. Happy Birthday Floz Boz!
